Derek wakes early to catch the BART down to Berkeley, and Stiles used to wake up just in time to give him a goodbye kiss, but he’s gotten used to waking up and Derek already having left for the day. And sometimes Stiles will get home and Derek is still in his office, grading papers well into the night.
