After an argument where Lucifer bemoans that he wishes Alastor were nicer, he wakes up to find an Alastor from an alternate reality has taken his place. Where his Alastor is salty, this one is sickeningly sweet, the kind of partner Lucifer always thought he wanted. But as he works to right his magical wrongs, he may just learn what it was he truly loved about his Alastor, thorns and all.
