“Tubbo,” Fit sighed, rolling his eyes. There were very few people who were aware of his deeper feelings towards his coworker, and unfortunately, Tubbo was one of them. It wasn’t unexpected that he’d take a stab at the New Year’s kiss joke, but it was no less embarrassing.
“You’re not disagreeing,” Tubbo pointed out. “I want it on the record that you are not disagreeing. Good for you, man. Happy you’re finally taking that step.”

His vision swims and the sudden catching in his sore throat spurs on a quick sputter of coughs that Fit throws into his elbow and off to the side. The ragged breath he takes in afterwards is harsh in the back of his mouth, near painful. Sandpaper rough.
Yeesh. Okay, he might’ve been pushing the envelope today with leaving bed.

Summary
“Found it!” Pac held up a dark cloak that matched his own. Fit startled as excited eyes landed on him. “It won’t be the best in the world, but it’ll do. Next year, I will prepare better.”
Despite how he felt about costumes, something in Fit softened at the idea of doing this again next year. It was an unofficial promise that they’d still be with each other — that Pac would still care about him enough to help with his outfit.
