Bio
Hello, I'm Rachel, Merlynnod on here and over at ffn . net
I write Iron Man/Avengers, there is some old stuff for House,MD and LOTR over at ffn, but my new stuff is here. :)
Now, important stuff!
Author's note:My stories are only vaguely interconnected, and you don't have to read one to understand another unless specifically indicated.
That being said, I've made a couple of changes to MCU canon, as it were, and it goes for pretty much all of my stories.
One, I couldn't leave Tony dead in Endgame. I totally understand, for the movies, for the character redemption arc, they needed to have that final sacrifice. I get it. I do.
But that's what fanfiction is for. To explore the other possibilities, to play with the characters, to explore "alternate timelines" as it were. So, I brought the man back. And before anybody starts screaming that that much radiation would be fatal, yadda yadda yadda...Let's be real here. The man survived CAVE SURGERY where they implanted an ELECTROMAGNET MADE OF SCRAPS INTO HIS BODY without the aid of rejection meds, or sepsis, or any of a billion other medical complications. Oh, and within, what, a month, of that surgery, he's in there hammering away and building damn armor. Nobody who's EVER had open heart surgery would be able to do that. So, you know, we're already suspending disbelief in terms of medical fact *anyway*. I can run with this. ;)
So, I brought Tony home from Endgame, and, TWO, they ended up adopting Peter because I killed off May during the Blip. I had to do it, sorry Aunt Hottie, but you were messing with my ability to write Iron Dad and Spider Son. ;) Victor Von Doom has NOTHING on me, mwhahahaha! ;)
I also left Steve Rogers in the present, not back in the 1940's, and I reinstalled Jarvis in the cabin. He's computer code, you CANNOT TELL ME that Tony wouldn't have regularly backed up that code in a secure place! Jarvis II LIVES!
