Summary
Squeezing his eyes shut as another wave of nausea washed over him, Sam lurched forward with a harsh retch, moaning when nothing came up. His hands clenched the guard rail like a vice, not quite trusting himself to stand on his own.
“Jeez, Sammy,” Dean’s gentle voice murmured from his side. His hand ran soothing strokes up and down Sam’s spine as Sam continued heaving fruitlessly.
Sam let out a strangled moan, stomach churning and cramping relentlessly. Dean reached over and gently swept his bangs out of his eyes, letting his cool palm linger for a moment on Sam’s sweaty forehead. Sam leaned into it without meaning to, a weaker sound slipping out of him this time.

He pleased Thanos in many shameful, foul ways, but he did not kneel. Thanos was a sadistic tyrant, he was not a king. Not a god.
