“What are you…” she groans, watching as Caitlyn shimmies a little upward and moves again, then again, and again. She does it a little slower every time, but grinds even harder, letting Vi feel as well as hear the way her folds spread softly with every forward roll of her hips.
The headboard rattles, the handcuffs pulling Vi back into place when she instinctively tries to grab Caitlyn’s hips, and Caitlyn smiles down at her like she was waiting for exactly that reaction.
“Do you think I could come like this?”

"I wanted to take you out on a date," Caitlyn finally admits. "We've both been so busy recently and I've missed you. I know we already spend all day together—" she adds before Vi can, "but it's not the same. I wanted a day for the two of us to relax. No cases, no responsibilities, just you, and me, spending time together."
Vi is grinning so hard it's starting to hurt a little.

Summary
When Vi wakes up in a hospital bed after an accident, disoriented and aching, the last person she expects to find at her side is Caitlyn: the one she pushed away months ago. But Caitlyn is there anyway, steady and composed despite the exhaustion written all over her, slipping back into familiar patterns of care as if no time has passed at all.
Confined to a quiet room filled with the hum of machines and too many unsaid things, Vi is forced to confront the weight of their history through fleeting glances, half-finished sentences, and the lingering comfort of Caitlyn’s presence. As memories blur with emotion and tension simmers just beneath the surface, it becomes harder to ignore how much still exists between them whether they’re ready to face it or not.

"Yeah, you're expecting me to put you in your place," she teased, sliding her hands up slowly, feeling her shiver. Vi gripped her ass and pulled her forward in one swift motion, making Caitlyn quiver as she bumped against her hips. "But I'm not mean, pretty girl. I'm giving you a chance to receive some mercy, and all you have to do is apologize for being so rude."
Caitlyn's thoughts were almost audible — her dark blue eyes scanning hers, her eyebrows furrowed as she seemed to ponder what to do. Patiently, Vi waited for her to decide.
"I'm not going to apologize for being right, Vi."
