He can hear the scritch-scratch of his five claws on Xenonite. He can hear the machines, humming their false song. He can hear the silent expanse of space. The distant stars. His friends, dead in the hull. And the building feeling, deep in every cell — every fibre of his body — that something is so incredibly wrong.
Rocky knows this disease. Exhaustion. And all alone in space, there is no cure.
It is a primal requirement that Eridians sleep only under the trusting gaze of their companions. Rocky spends forty-six years alone in space.

Kaito's parents had discovered they were soulmates from their first meeting (when your soulmate's pain was the only way to identify each other, throwing yourself out of a window wasn't a bad way to discover your soulmate); although Kaito knew of his parent's first meeting, he had always kept had his expectations low. He knew not to expect some romantic meeting with his soulmate. Of course he equally never expected he'd Taser his soulmate!

"I hate this stupid exhibit," Marinette mutters, straining to shove the lid off the sarcophagus. Normally, that's no problem when she's transformed, but this particular villain must have them under something heavy or have dropped them underwater or something because it doesn't budge.
Face pressed into her stomach, having been tumbled in after her in a particularly undignified position that Marinette is doing her best to ignore, Chat Noir whimpers.
