When the gods realize another pantheon is encroaching on their territory, they need to send someone to investigate the matter. With Nico knowing about other pantheons before most other demigods, his experience as the Ambassador of Pluto, and the power to command authority as a child of the Big Three, he was the obvious choice.

Summary
Osamu Dazai died at 15 only to be brought back to life against his will and molded into the ideal creation of a monster who had full ownership over him.
Having come to term with his new life and place eternally by Mori’s side he’s surprised once he’s ordered to leave that life (temporarily unfortunately) for an abroad mission in some bullshit hero city.
The job was simple. Act like a hopeless train wreck of a child (he wouldn’t have to do much acting) get close to the hero’s, gather important information, and take out a couple key figures in hero society while keeping under the radar. Assassination and infiltration was his specialty and he was already nothing but an inhuman unfeeling shell so what could possibly go wrong?

After the Avengers found a atrange pond made of a green substance, they assembled to try and figure out what had just appeared out of thin air.
Due to Parker luck and plain old karma on Bucky's side they end falling into the substance.
When they reawakened they are in an alleyway with people claiming to be vigilantes trying to meet them.

“Kid?!” Wally exclaims, “Dick, did you kidnap a child?”
“Technically no.”
“What do you mean, technically?!”

After the blip everything went from bad to absolutely horrible, in an attempt to save the young vigilante. Dr. Strange sent Peter to another world, to another universe when no one could hurt him. Peter woke up with his whole body in pain and not knowing where he was, since everything looked similar and different at the same time. Peter would find himself trying to survive in Gotham and having a Bat family behind him and mostly more important, his own mind and thoughts.
Before Peter could died on the blip, Dr. Strange sent him to a different world, thinking it would be the best for him instead of dying i the arms of his mentor…Oh, who wrong he was.

Which, honestly, was not the best thing to happen to you when you wake up in an alleyway.
It wasn’t even, like, normal dust like that time he got buried alive under a building and he threw up dusty vomit. It was straight up gray dust that he’s like 87% sure used to be his internal organs. The whole snap and dust that Thanos had done seemed to have some real weird side effects.
