"You're going to go there no matter what." Geralt shrugged.

Oxenfurt was a busy place, filled with both bardic rivalry and friendships. A killer on the loose didn't make navigating the city and its intricacies any easier for Jaskier and Geralt.

Summary
Jaskier wasn't exactly sure what he had expected Kaer Morhen to be like but the keep was everything and nothing like it. The place was a dichotomy. Magnificent and sad in equal measures in its derelict state. Silent but full of noise. Cold yet filled with warmth.
But most importantly, it was Geralt's home. Seeing him so relaxed, the sharpest edges rounded down with the knowledge of being safe and surrounded by his family was a beautiful sight to behold.
Jaskier wished he too would relearn what safety felt like.

It started with small things.
"How long have you been working?" Geralt would ask after returning to their inn room far past midnight after a hunt.
"Stop playing that already," Geralt would snap after an hour of having listened to the same five chords.
"Stop fidgeting and go the fuck to sleep," Geralt would sigh for the fourth night in a row.
But it all was small. Nothing to be worried about.
Jaskier knew he was perfectly fine.

I however add a bare-bones summary of them at the beginning of the next one so hopping on without reading everything is possible!
The series name is lifted from lyrics of Love Run (intro) by the Amazing Devils. If you want to hear more of Joey's singing go check it out.

His breath passes through his body in cycles, and he allows himself to focus on it. The stretch in his muscles as his chest expands and back widens. Each inhale seems to unravel something in him, allowing the tension to bleed from his body.
Once more he observes Olruggio’s features, taking in the color of his eyes — an intriguing shade that reminds him of a star-filled sky — and the harsh line of his mouth. He observes the dark strands that fall across his forehead, the cut of his jawline, the bridge of his nose.
I want him and this life we built together.
I want to live.
or: qifrey learns to rebuild. olruggio is by his side.

“B-but Professor Qifrey, you’ll be all alone in there…!”
“Coco, please. Tell him to hurry.”
AKA Qifrey panics, doesn’t want to accept he’s panicking, and then tries to sweep the whole ordeal under the rug.

Raising a Grim Reaper is not an easy task. Eight loosely-connected chapters about Lord Death and Kid. The ‘themes’ for each chapter are:
1. Pain (Birth): Giving birth to a Grim Reaper was easier said than done.
2. Guilt (Complications): Death needs an adult because parenting is hard.
3. Relief (Games): What qualifies as quality time between two Grim Reapers again?
4. Helplessness (Attacked): Kid goes skateboarding one day and things violently spiral out of control.
5. Astonishment (Companionship): A familiar soul outside of Death City is in need of reaping.
6. Joy (Attacking): The First Line of Sanzu is connected and Death doesn’t know how to react.
7. Dread (Recuperation): A conversation Kid doesn’t want and Death dreads to have.
