Summary
From right above his head, Mike sees Bob’s mouth form a shocked little “Oh”, but all Mike can hear is the ringing in his ears. He gives up on controlling himself and wails into Bob’s shoulder.
Today, he watched his best friend forget everything that made him Will, stabbed him with a needle, saw countless dead and mauled bodies, and now the asshole responsible for trapping them here is telling him all of it was for nothing.
Or: Joyce and Hopper don't make it to Will's room in time. Now it's just Mike and Bob as they try to find there way out of the lab, and everything is about to go terribly, terribly wrong.
A season/series retelling diverging in S02E08 based on the idea that a possessed Will was meant to kill Bob, keeping the dark and horror tone of the first two seasons.

Summary
When Merlin moves to Camelot with his mum, he does his best to blend in and make friends. He doesn’t expect to fall in with his mum’s choreography clients, the figure skating pairs team of Arthur and Morgana. They’re preparing for their debut on the senior level, and Merlin keeps getting roped into filming them practising a new lift. Arthur keeps offering to film Merlin skating, too, but Merlin absolutely cannot let that happen if he doesn’t want to reveal his secret. Besides, shouldn’t Arthur be focused on his pairs partner?

Summary
He recoils in shock and terror when he sees its limbs – twisted and wrong. Its skin is torn open in places and hanging down, he can see the whiteness of bone beneath the torn flesh. A thick spurt of blood wells to the surface and splatters onto the floor between him and the sink.
The creature snarls and Mike screams.
It drops to the ground, twisting in mid-air to land on all fours. Its head is twisted in the wrong angle, its spine is sticking out from its back. More blood falls as the flesh is jostled. A thick, rotting smell fills the air.
Mike keeps screaming.
The handle jangles again, harsher this time. Will’s voice filters through, he sounds panicked. Mike can’t make out the words over the sounds of his own screams.
The creature titters, skittering forward, and Mike stumbles back. He hits the door with a loud thud. He’s still screaming.

“No. Merlin, as in, the bloke who was closing up shop but couldn’t because a royal prat barged in here and tested his remaining patience.”

After centuries of waiting for Arthur’s return, and the ancient king showing no sign of resurrecting anytime soon, Merlin decides to turn himself into a stone statue and wait out the remaining years in a semi-conscious state. He places a charm upon himself, making it so that he will change back once Arthur returns and finds him. A plaque on the statue’s plinth reads as much: “Whoever holds dominion over this soul of stone / Need only touch it to turn it to flesh and bone.” It becomes something of a must-try in the city, and despite thousands of people interacting with the statue every year, no one succeeds in turning him back into a human.
