The Blade Lineage Clan, the Syndicate of the moonlit blade fiends, who now wanders aimlessly in search of temporary respite after they were driven from their homeland, and the Kurokumo Clan, the Syndicate of the swordsmen inked with black clouds, well-known for their reputation in the Backstreets, and yet currently remains in a delicate state of power as a Captain had just been appointed as their newest acting head.
These clans, that should have clashed and fought until one completely eliminates the other, shall receive a different kind of fate, a better one, as a certain Mentor and Wakashu coincidentally come together, at first for the sake of their friends, their families, their homes,
But then, as time passes by, perhaps for something more?
Thus, witness as their fates slowly unravel under the light of the gentle moon, and the drifting black clouds passing by.

What's the difference? Does it matter? They're both just animals, beings lower in hierarchy than humans. Regardless if they're dogs or sheep, all they'll ever be worth for is just to become fodder for humanity's survival and advancement.
Even if they're being subjected to torture, or exploited for their nature, no one would bat an eye, no.
Because who would have the energy to care about the lives of these inferior creatures that they can't even understand—let alone talk to—when they've already had enough on their plates as it is, living in such an inhumane and ruthless place as the City?
But tell me, please tell me,
Do you also think that they, too, deserve a chance to live under the bright, twinkling night skies, filled with thousands of stars shining above their heads?
