Imagine his surprise when he finds the man he's supposed to be protecting is in fact Izuku Midoriya, retired hero, and feigning to be quirkless.
Tensions rise as they find themselves resurfacing old grudges and even older longings. Will the years of isolation and secrets finally break what they'd once thought unbreakable? Or will they realize the antidote to their self made poison has been with them all along?-
