After a minute or two of silence, Ivan decided to lift his head. In most cases, Ivan would say he knew exactly what Till was thinking. But as he met his eyes, his expression was too blank, and his eyes were void of much emotion. He had absolutely no clue this time.
"...I can explain," came Ivan's weak attempt at--yet again--getting Till to talk to him.
Till's gaze softened a bit, which would have gone unnoticed to the untrained eye. Though Ivan noticed.
"Okay," Till said after a moment. He looked utterly dejected when he uttered, "Please do."

Olruggio scoffed. “No. I mean I was seeing this girl sometime ago anyway, you know.”
Not really. A disaster of a fling that ended with her walking out mid hookup. There were more attempts. They didn’t go anywhere.
“I didn’t ask if you were seeing anyone Olly.” Qifrey reminded him, smug. “But if you did, good for you.”
Dick. Olruggio wanted to reach for that ashen gray hair and pull as hard as he could, then he remembered about the we’re open part, fixating on that.
“He just lets you… sleep with whoever you want?”
“He just wants me. He can have me. But if I want something else,” Qifrey murmured, his foot trailing up Olruggio’s leg. “I can have it."
Returning to the atelier means working alongside Qifrey again — strictly as colleagues. Except Qifrey has moved on, built a life Olruggio doesn't recognize, and somehow that's the part he can't leave alone.
