Though they share similar scars, those same wounds threaten to keep them apart, facing the darkness alone.

But holding someone living? That feeling was so unspeakably different, so much more pleasurable. The presence of a soul makes so much of a difference.

Sebille finds herself lost after escaping The Master's thrall, only fuelled by anger and adrenaline. But as she experiences more of Rivellon, she begins to wonder if she kills for the right reasons. Lohse, a lackadasical musician, seems to think that she does. But they both know that morality is more complicated than the arbitrary labels one can assign to things.
Is Sebille even worth caring for? Is Lohse truly who she says she is? How can one make sense of the world when it's been turned on its head so many times?

Life within close proximity to other Godwoken is interesting. Particularly interesting when one starts to develop feelings for another one. Who's to say where that will end up.

For those who are in agreement that some subplots of Div:OS2 (romantic, especially), are just... non-satisfactory, I present this absolute monster of a long-fic. Features augmented canon-compliant reality, in which I don't reject what the game does but instead aim to make it work in spite of that anyway, as well as 30k+ words of slow-burn and mutual pining in the midst of their nerve-wracking adventure, and some detailed descriptions of angst, smut, fluff, love, battle, death, and all of the inner turmoils.
Sebille trained to be a conjurer but that ended when she was enslaved by the Master. The Red Prince has always been taught to hide and pretend. Ifan can feel an instant connection with his new companions, more so than he ever had with his previous ones, but they don't need to know that. And Fane is just enjoying the ride; until he's not.
