TIME TRAVEL — Sasuke travels back in time after the world had gone to shit. He ends up just before the Uchiha Clan Massacre. Which is not a thing here, since he takes down Danzo as soon as he can. Problem is, this gets him into trouble. Well, that and the fact that he can’t stay away from Naruto 😂. [Takes a wide-arching view of events!]
THOUGHTS — Ahhhh finally! A good, new time travel fic! Man I’ve run into so many in the past couple of days and none of them have quite been able to measure up. This one is good though. Canon compliant with AU Elements. With an older Sasuke landing back in time to join in rather than transmigrating into his own body. So far, he’s taken the usual steps (take Danzo down) lol. But it’s become this massive thing that the other characters take note of and it’s fantastic. It goes to show that, as much as his foreknowledge helps, it also hinders. As so far; every single thing he does has come back to bite him in the ass because of his previous attachments.
All in all? It makes up a free story to read. One that has rising conflicts rather than just constant fix-it scenarios. Those are nice too, when I’m feeling self-indulgent and want happy times. But these type of time travel fics are definitely my favorite. Can’t wait to see what comes next!
(UPDATE) Read the two new chapters. Surprisingly easy to catch up with! So I think I’ll be able to follow the updates on this one. Although, I’ll wait a little bit (a couple of chapters or so) before coming back. The story is in active conflict stage rn, and cliffhangers are abound!
