Summary
Telling ghost stories is a favorite past time of Mai Taniyama and her friends–that is, until she meets 17-year-old Kazuya Shibuya and 16-year-old Mei-Lin Koujo, the man and assistant sent by Shibuya Psychic Research Center to investigate paranormal activity at a supposedly haunted school. When Mai gets caught in a dangerous situation, she is rescued by Kazuya’s second assistant. Saving her lands the assistant incapacitated, Mei-Lin already disliking her for some reason unknown to her, and Kazuya demands that Mai become his assistant instead... This should be fun.

Summary
Shortly after Naru, now discovered to be the famous Oliver Davis, made his way back to England, Mai's spiritual abilities began to grow. After searching for a way to regulate her powers and their effects on her body, Mai discovered that by playing an instrument, she could safely use her powers and not overexert herself in her day-to-day life. Takigawa took full advantage of this and made Mai the official drummer of his band. Mai learned she had a natural talent, making her a semi-famous violist and rockstar.
By chance, while touring with Takigawa's band in England, Mai receives a last-minute invite to a party as the live performer from a fan of hers who happens to be the daughter of one of the organizers. It is here she will cross paths with a certain someone (we all know) who will decide how to proceed with the quick evolution of his and Mai's relationship.
