Summary
The story goes like this: Jin Zixuan, Jiang Yanli, Lan Wangji and the Wen remnants died in an explosion of resentful energy when they were trying to convince Wei Wuxian to abandon his lawless path.
That happened 19 years ago.
The rumors go like this: Wei Wuxian's spirit haunts the grounds between Yiling and Lotus Pier because there lies a place shrouded in resentment, a place that is so dark, cruel and evil that no cultivator has managed to breach or disperse it.
The place shrouded in resentment still exists, but nobody has dared to try and enter it in years.
