Hizashi is a botanist. Shouta is not human. Hizashi a PhD student getting data for his dissertation on orchids on a remote Tepui in South America. There are rarer finds on this plateau than orchids.....

"Shouta held his breath not so much in fear but from awe. He knew he could easily overpower the man and throw him from the cliff if need be, but being this close to a human was intriguing...."
"With the camera’s next flash Hizashi gasped. The light reflected back two red eyes and the unmistakable form of something alive, as it shifted in response to the reveal...."

A: Shouta was going to hang Hizashi from the ceiling when he woke up, but in the blonde's defense, Eri's drawings were too good…
B: It was a vain effort on their part. Eraserhead worked such late hours that there was no way his family would be able to stay up until he came home. He was honored that they tried though.
