Intro:
This collection is for stories set in the Dysfunction AU. Authors are ultharkitty and naboru.
Setting
The setting is based on the G1 cartoon, with a few elements pulled in from other continuities.
We generally keep to the events as they happened in the cartoon, and expand to fill the gaps or tackle the cartoon's internal consistency problems. This AU diverges most from canon in having backgrounds for the Combaticons, as well as R and NC-17 rated content.
Stories
The AU is a work in progress, but most of the stories stand alone.
We're not writing in chronological order but where the inspiration takes us, so this is the kind of collection you can dip into.
Some of the multi-chapter stories rely on earlier works, and these will be labelled by series. Hopefully it'll be clear what follows on from what! Just in case it isn't, there's a chronological master list here. This is the definitive list, as it's going to take us a while to get everything onto AO3.
About that NC-17 content...
This is a non-sticky 'verse. Robot sex will include plug-n-play, tactile, energy fields, harmonics and anything else we think of at the time. We both write sticky, but not for this AU.
