A sudden lightning strike could be heard a mile away.
Diana, and Bruce, now in their Superhero alter egos, were waiting for Freddy in the designated spot, with Barry struggling, trying to stabilize the drowsy Captain Marvel.
“Bruce- help!” Flash whisper-shouted out, mentally cursing the dark knight out as Bruce turned away from him. Luckily, Diana, being the nicest person ever, took pity upon the speedster and helped him hold up the poor Captain.
Bruce grunted. “Stick to our alternate names, Flash.” he warned, his back still turned away from him as Flash rolled his eyes. “Yeah okay- Batman.”
In the meantime, Captain Marvel was gushing over his boyfriend, giggling in slurred words as Wonder Woman listened intently and Flash chuckled from the interaction. Batman looked uninterested, but knowing Bruce, he was probably jotting down in his brain for extra information about the captain, be it not being about the Captain himself.
But for now, he knows a few things.
-Captain Marvel, isn’t immune to jinxes. Which Bruce thought was weird, Captain Marvel is the Champion of Magic is he not? He shouldn’t be affected by magic at all. Unless he's known wrong.
But now he knows what Captain Marvel would be vulnerable to.
-Captain Marvel IS a mask. If what he has heard from Freddy was about him having a civilian name, then he can erase the theory of Marvel being a concept and having nothing to hide.
-This “Freddy” is Captain Marvel’s boyfriend. Though he can’t get far with this information, as there are a lot of Freddys in Fawcett City. Does he even know if Freddy is from Fawcett? Nonetheless, he now knows the mysterious member has someone in his life.
But that granted more questions.
- Captain Marvel has NEVER mentioned anyone in his life until now. Does that mean he’s only started dating Freddy recently? Or is he that good at hiding?
- What type of magic is Captain Marvel vulnerable to? He hopes it won’t be something common.
- Is Freddy also a superhero? He seems to know about Captain Marvel’s hero life, unless Marvel was open to him from the start…
Bruce immediately snapped out of his thoughts as he heard a voice.
“Uh- Hello, Batman…?”
Flash, Wonder Woman, and Batman looked up to see-
“CM3?” Flash gawked at the super in blue. Wonder Woman and Bruce were speechless. They haven’t seen CM3 for a long while, and Marvel always said it was because he was busy doing civilian stuff. CM3 rubbed his nape, chuckling.
“Yeah- uhm, I keep forgetting everyone calls me that- sorry, it’s been a while. Uh, hi- never met you guys before- I’m honored! haha…uh..”
CM3 looks at Captain Marvel, passed out. “I’ll take him…?” as he extends his arms to secure Marvel on his back, smiling softly at him.
He draws his attention back to the three. “What happened?”. As Batman glares at Flash, making him look ashamed.
As The Flash explains, CM3 takes it with understanding, even chuckling at the silly story, making Flash relieved.
“Well, that’s fine, it’s not like Cap’s hurt or anything.” He reassures, as he starts to float up.
“Actually, I’d like to ask something.” Batman stops him, crossing his arms, making CM3 go down again, curious on what he has to ask.
“You and Captain Marvel are siblings, along with CM2.”
‘That’s not a question.’ Freddy thinks, but luckily, he has already answered this “question” many times.
“Common Misconception, Lady Marvelous- well CM2, is Captain Marvel’s twin. I am not in ANY way related to Marvel. He shared these powers with me, hence why I’m not around much cause I need his powers-”
Well, that answers Bruce’s third question.
“We’re just called CM2 and CM3 because we couldn’t decide on our hero names- but anyways! I’m his best friend. I have been for- forever! Even before he became ‘Captain Marvel’.”
‘That revealed a lot.’ Bruce ponders, but nods at the explanation.
“Very well, thank you, CM3- Freddy.” He says, with the other two- Diana and Flash nodding as well.
“Please, call me Lieutenant Voltage! Well Voltage for short, Gosh I’m still not over people calling me and Marvelous CM2 and CM3…”
Diana chuckles. “We’ll keep that in mind, It was nice meeting you Lieutenant Voltage. Please get home safely!” She chirps as Voltage waves, carrying Captain Marvel on his back.
…
“I suppose I’ll have to thank you Flash.” Bruce says, with Barry looking at him like he’s just said something impossible.
“Wha-why-”
“If not for this turn of events caused by you, we wouldn’t have learned something new about our teammate of 6 years.”
As Flash short-circuits, Diana chuckles, and Bruce sighs.

A knock and a jingle of a lock open the door of Billy and Mary’s apartment, as Freddy sees the door open, he comes face to face with an irritated to a quickly concerned Mary.
“Freddy? What happened to Bi-”
“Got hit with a jinx that makes him drunk.”
Mary stares at him with disbelief.
“You’re serious?”
“Yeah.”
Mary laughs, as Billy wakes up, still drowsy.
“H-uh..?” he starts, but gets quickly cut-off. “Go back to sleep Billy.” Freddy whispers, carrying him with the help of Mary to the bedroom. As they settle him down on the bed, Billy groggily says;
“Luv ya Freddy...”
Freddy chuckles, giving a kiss on his boyfriend’s forehead and a quick “I love you too.” as Mary fake-gags, earning a gushy giggle from Billy.
Soon, Billy snores. Freddy and Mary tiptoe out of the room to not disturb the other, closing the bedroom door. Freddy looks at Mary.
“The Justice League knows my name now.”
“THEY WHAT.”
